12 charged in Edwardsville,Illinois meth bust.

EDWARDSVILLE, Illinois. A dozen Metro East,Illinois residents are accused of drug-related felonies after a raid uncovered what police are calling 1 of the largest methamphetamine (meth-am-FEHT'-uh-meen) labs ever found in Edwardsville,Illinois.

The charges came down yesterday, two days after police converged on the 127-year-old house they'd been watching for about a year.

Police say the 12 people charged were found inside the home at the time of the raid.

According to court papers, searchers seized a small amount of finished meth, a large amount of liquid meth and drug paraphernalia. Officers also found a 14-month-old child.
