Substance Abuse Assessment in Michigan
There are many substances of abuse that you might have been taking in Michigan. At some point, you might enroll in an addiction treatment facility to determine if you need such treatment. During this process, you will typically undergo substance abuse assessment.
Some of the drugs that you might have been taking might have been prescribed by a health care professional, such as a doctor. They include substances like pain relief medications, sedatives, tranquilizers, and amphetamines.
During screening for addiction, you should not record the drugs that might have been prescribed by a doctor. However, in case you were taking these medications without a valid prescription or in any other way than your doctor indicated, you would have to inform the people doing the assessment.
This could have been due using these medications in higher doses or more frequently than your doctor advised you to. If this is the case, you will have to inform the assessment professionals about it.
